Description

In the landscape, the red baron variety for that grass, creates large landscape effects, mainly during the cold seasons of the year.

Blood grass grows around 50 cm height, leaves in the form of swords emerging green, getting red during summer and red burgudy in autumn-winter.

That species are cultivated by their extremely ornamental leaf, generally used next to lakes and water courses, or as background for lower species, organize a set and lend your colored beautiful landscape as a whole. Also be beautiful when grouped by the way or completing empty spaces together with other species.

Huge controversies comes limiting the use of the species, but without any question when it is properly inserted, it is a true glass landscape, and red baron is a true kingdom within this context.

Species prefer dry soils that promote excellent drainage.
